The History of Kupe

Kupe was the first Polynesian to discover and visit
New Zealand and he was a great chief of hawaiki.

One day Kupe decided to go fishing and it was apparently
triggered by a great big octopus. There for Kupe
went on his canoe and followed the giant octopus.
He wanted to kill the beast. The octopus lead him to
Cook Straight in New Zealand and that is where he
ended it’s life.

  1. Hello, Larz.
My name is Emerald, and I am a fellow classmate in your class.
You have really improved your writing and punctuation, and the report explains who Kupe is.
I think you could add more detail into your Appearance and Navigation categories, that would definitely help with your final score.
I learnt that Kupe never initially intended to go to New Zealand, but came in search of an octopus and landed in Aotearoa. Since we are both sharing our reports at the assembly, do you have what you're saying at the assembly highlighted and prepared?
