Covid 19 In New Zealand
1. My family
2. Covid 19 in Gisborne
3. NZ compared to other countries

On the 23rd of March our prime minister, Jacinda Ardern announced
that NZ would be going into stage 4 lockdown on Wednesday night.
I strongly agree that it was a good idea to go into lockdown because
New Zealand in my opinion is doing reasonably well.
If Jacinda Ardern hadn't of put us into lock down it could have
spread quicker
and doubled the cases. At the moment NZ only has 1,149 cases. In
Gisborne there is only one case that is very low. New Zealand is
doing really well and the cases are low and hopefully it stays that way.

In my family there are 6 us in a 90 square meter house.
Staying in the same place for
8 weeks was a struggle. I started to go crazy after 3 weeks and the
fact that we had to go in lock down for another month after the first
month ended made me mad. But we were staying home for a good
reason so it didn't matter if I was going crazy. Everytime when I sat
on my couch I could see quite a lot of cars go by but I'll get to that in
the next paragraph. My older brothers kept annoying me for no reason
and I just wanted them to disappear for a little while. My sister and I
would go for a walk everyday and my brothers would go for a run
everyday. One day we would go for a short walk and the next day
we would go for a long walk.

Gisborne is doing quite well. I guess it helps a tiny bit that Gisborne
isn't huge but I don't think that's the main reason. The main reason
Gisborne is doing well is because of the 40,000 people who are
staying in doors. Even though I said that I saw a lot of cars go past
the lounge window Gisborne still appears to be doing well. But I live
on one of the main roads, Ormond Road. But I don't think there were
a lot of cars because they needed stuff I think it's because people
thought the world was ending and they needed to get supplies.
That's only my opinion. Maybe it's just that a lot of people needed
stuff on the same day.

The whole of New Zealand is doing really well compared to other
countries. The United States Of America have 1.52 million confirmed
cases of Covid 19. Around 281K people have recovered from
Covid 19 in America. In Mainland China there are 82,947 cases
confirmed. 78,227 have recovered from Covid 19 in Mainland
China. Australia which is one of the most nearest countries from
New Zealand has 7,086 Covid 19 cases. 6,367 have recovered
from Australia.

Hopefully some of the information I wrote has made you think
it was a good idea for Jacinda Ardern to put New Zealand in
lock down. And you might have learned something new from
this. Also in New Zealand 1,433 people have recovered
from Covid 19.

What We Did
Before lock down happened we were working on a Anzac slideshow.
I think i'm a little late on posting this slide on my blog.
I'm posting it now and thats all that matters.
Their was six slides that we had to answer the questions on.
On the question "What is war good for?" I was a bit
confused but then I did some researching and found some
good things like it makes it safer and richer.
I found it exciting when my Mum was telling me about
my great Grandfather. Because I had never heard of
it before. And if my great great Grandfather didn't come back
he would not of had my Grandfather and thats means my
Grandfather wouldn't of had my Mum and that means
my Mum wouldn't of had me.
Thats a mouth full.

✏Cิ‹ฮฑส…ส…าฝษณษ าฝ #3✏

What I Did
We had to draw the images above without lifting our pen and we
couldn't go over a line we had already drawn.
The easiest ones for me were numbers one, two, three and five.
They were just so easy and relaxing to draw. You really didn't
need to think about how to them.
The hardest ones for me were numbers four, twelve and twenty.
For some reason these were the hardest for me, they
just had me thinking a lot. And they were really frustrating
and annoying but then I did them some how which made me happy.
I rubbed out a lot on some of them because I kept messing up and
then I needed to rub it out. That's why theirs so much faded lines.
I know I sound like Mr. Excuses but thats what caused all
the faded lines. For some reason I decided to put
"Challenge #3" on the paper and on the slide, I did the
same thing for "By Larz".
I don't know why I did that but its to late.
Also you might want to zoom in to see it more clearly.
Or you could press the full screen button one or the other.

What I Did
I made a Anzac poster a couple weeks ago.
I made this because my brother was also making one
so I decided to make one.
My favorite thing about the poster is the poppies.
The most difficult thing I made was the gravestone.
I know it looks easy but trust me it wasn't.
The reason why it was hard because poly line
wasn't cooperating with me. I didn't even
press twice but then it still highlighted it so it
didn't finish and I had to restart from
the beginning.

What I Did
We had to do another challenge.
The challenge was to take a photo of objects that was one
of the describing words. The words were all of the above in
my slide. Besides the first slide and the last slide obviously.
The most challenging describing word for me was "Dark".
The reason why dark was the hardiest for me was because
my first thought was to record a video of me putting my
Mums phone in the fridge then I would just take a screenshot
of the darkness. That plan didn't go so well so
I just took a photo of our rooster bell, that was my Mums
idea. The easiest one for me was the "Rough".
The idea I thought of was our brick wall.
I thought of that idea in seconds. Also I thought that
my dads hats looked good because it made the photo pop.
The one that looked the best in my opinion was the
clock. I don't know why but for some reason it just looked the best.
I just think it's because the clock looks old and rusty
and it just looked amazing.
The two most enjoyable two were the "Alive" and the "Yellow".
For alive my brother thought of our backyard.
I also love that photo it just looks so happy because of the plants
and the color. For yellow I did one of our watering cans.
We also have a blue was that looks exactly the same
but instead it's blur. For that photo I laid down on our deck
and then took the photo.
Also I didn't know if I was meant to take a photo of
me because my sister took a photo of me for the word
"Little" because i'm pretty sure it said in the challenge 2
description said "to take photos of objects around you".
I don't think it matters that much though.
This challenge was a really fun because it made me feel
like a photographer.

What We Did
We had to take photos of objects that look like the letter of our name.
I'm not sure if I was supposed to get a couple of objects or a single one.
Anyway if the case is that it was supposed to be a single one
I couldn't find any single objects that looked like a letter of my name.
Now i'm going to tell you what was the hardest and what was the easiest.
The hardest letter I did was R first I thought I could use pillows to make the R
but it ended up looking funny. But then my Mum thought of the idea
to use a sheet. Also my sister helped me with the L.
It's because I wasn't tall enough to take the photo and thats why my sister took
it.
The easiest letter I did was A. The reason why A was the easiest was because I
didn't need my sister or Mum to help. Also my Mum helped me with the word Z
as you can see my Mum used our tv remotes for it.
I found this challenge really fun and I think it's a time to show off your creative
mind.
